The intersection of F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street and F. Tuglase Street will be closed to traffic from 28 May to 31 August 2026 due to reconstruction works.
A local detour around the construction area will be provided via the connecting road between F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street and Vaksali Street, continuing along Vaksali, Hiie, or Hurda Street.
Access to the Main Building will be routed through the parking area next to the Tähtvere tennis courts. As this parking area will also be used for storing construction materials, stopping and parking there will be prohibited throughout the construction period.
Access to all buildings of the Estonian University of Life Sciences will remain available. In some cases, temporary daytime restrictions on vehicle access may occur due to excavation, paving, or other construction activities.
The reconstruction works will also affect public transport. Bus routes 3, 6, 13, and 22 will operate on temporary detours. Temporary bus stops will be established on F. Tuglase Street near the skate park and on the connecting road between F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street and Vaksali Street. Several regular stops will be replaced by nearby temporary stops.
Parking on the Estonian University of Life Sciences campus is free (except in front of the Sports Building—see the diagram below) and available for employees, students, and visitors.
Visitors coming to the Main Building are advised to use the Metsamaja parking lot (F. R. Kreutzwaldi 5), the Tehnikamaja parking lot (F. R. Kreutzwaldi 56; partially permit-based), the Tennis Court parking lot, or the Tartu Song Festival Grounds parking areas, as parking spaces near the Main Building are usually limited.
In front of Mõisamaja (F. R. Kreutzwaldi 1, the historic building to the left of the Main Building), there is a designated staff parking area where parking is allowed only with a written permit.
Please follow traffic and parking regulations, as AS Ühisteenused, which oversees parking compliance on campus, has the right to issue penalty fees for improper parking.
